How do I enable JavaScript in my browser?

In order to access HeyMath! you will need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser. Upgrading your browser or installing new security software or security patches may affect your JavaScript settings. It is a good idea to double-check that JavaScript is still enabled if you notice problems accessing HeyMath!.

To enable JavaScript in your browser, please follow the instructions below:

Note: If you are still experiencing problems accessing HeyMath! after ensuring that JavaScript is enabled in your browser, please check if you have any personal firewall or security software installed.


WINDOWS USERS


Internet Explorer (6.0 +)
  1. Select 'Tools' from the top menu.
  2. Choose 'Internet Options'.
  3. Click on the 'Security' tab.
  4. Click on 'Custom Level'.
  5. Scroll down until you see section labeled 'Scripting'.
  6. Under 'Active Scripting', select 'Enable' and click OK.
  7. Refresh or Restart the browser.
Mozilla Firefox (1.0)
  1. Select 'Tools' from the top menu.
  2. Choose 'Options'.
  3. Choose 'Web Features' from the left navigation.
  4. Select the checkbox next to 'Enable JavaScript' and click OK.
  5. Refresh or Restart the browser.
Mozilla Firefox (1.5+)
  1. Select 'Tools' from the top menu.
  2. Choose 'Options'.
  3. Choose 'Content' from the top navigation.
  4. Select the checkbox next to 'Enable JavaScript' and click OK.
  5. Refresh or Restart the browser.
Maxthon (2 +)
  1. Select 'Tools' from the top menu.
  2. Choose 'Internet Options'.
  3. Click on the 'Security' tab.
  4. Click on 'Custom Level'.

  7. Refresh or Restart the browser.

  1. Select 'Edit' from the top menu.
  2. Choose 'Preferences'.

  1. Select 'Edit' from the top menu.
  2. Choose 'Preferences'.
  3. Choose 'Advanced'.
  4. Choose 'Scripts & Plugins'.
  5. Select the 'Enable JavaScript' checkbox and click OK.
  6. Refresh or Restart the browser.
Opera (9.64)
  1. Click on 'Tools' and select 'Quick Preferences'.
  2. Select the 'Enable JavaScript' checkbox.

  1. Click on 'Tools' and select 'Preferences', then select the 'Advanced' tab.
  2. In the 'Advanced' tab, select the 'Content' option.
  3. Select the 'Enable JavaScript' checkbox.
  4. Close the window.
  5. Refresh or Restart the browser.


MAC USERS


Safari (4 Beta)
  1. Click on Safari, then select 'Preferences'.
  2. Click on the 'Security' tab.
  3. Under Web Content, select the checkbox next to 'Enable JavaScript'.
  4. Close the window.
  5. Refresh or Restart the browser.
Mozilla Firefox (3.0)
  1. Click on Firefox and select 'Preferences'.
  2. Click on the 'Content' tab.
  3. Select the 'Enable JavaScript' checkbox.
  4. Close the window.
  5. Refresh or Restart the browser.
Opera (9.64)
  1. Click on Opera and select 'Quick Preferences'.
  2. Select the 'Enable JavaScript' checkbox.

  1. Click on Opera and select 'Preferences', then select the 'Advanced' tab.
  2. In the 'Advanced' tab, select the 'Content' option.
