HeyMath! Scholar: Casey Mohr

After reading Thomas Freidman's, The World is Flat, I have had a dream to become a part of globalization. Stumbling upon HeyMath.com in the book, I immediately wanted to get involved with the company. I contacted HeyMath, and everything else is history!
Now, I solve math problems for HeyMath from my computer. I have worked for HeyMath since October of 2006. One of my dreams became reality on November 23rd, 2007, when I traveled to India. I was able to spend time with the HeyMath community at their headquarters in Chennai.
Chennai and the US have some differences. I surprised to hear that back home it was snowing while I was sweating in the extreme heat and humidity of Chennai. Compared to the US, Chennai, put modestly, is chaotic. From a stop light to the market, everything about Chennai life is crazy!
Despite the craziness of Chennai, it has its advantages. Everything is inexpensive, especially food! I noticed the people in Chennai are respectful to one another. For example, in the US, traffic follies can escalate into confrontations, that would not happen in India.
The people I met with at HeyMath were outgoing and energetic. During my visit, the HeyMath team put everything down to welcome me to the HeyMath office. I think it says a lot about the company when the founder steps out of a meeting to greet to me. The HeyMath environment is a truly unique place to be.
