HeyMath! Intern: Pynkynmawlang Rymmai
Truth be told, I have never heard much about HeyMath apart from their contribution in "Young World". I had googled information about HeyMath only when they came to our College (LIBA, Chennai) to recruit for Summer Interns. I loved the work they are doing and hoped that I was chosen as one of the interns. I have never worked in an organization prior to HeyMath and was expecting a lot at the organization. The organization did not fail my expectations but instead surpassed it a million miles. My first day and I was in formals and a bit nervous but also excited to take up a new role after a year in LIBA. To my surprise there was no one in formals. The office was so colorful and filled with a lot of energetic people. It is not any typical corporate office with stringent protocols
HeyMath is professionalism at its best and the work culture is just amazing. Personnel in the organization are very well informed in their field. The department I was working with was always bustling with so much energy and enthusiasm. Everyone in the organization was easily approachable for any help.
What is being done in HeyMath is truly marvelous and you never feel bored to go over the math content backed with such amazing animations. I envy the kids who are learning math through the HeyMath Programme. It would have been great had we also had the chance to learn math as the kids do today.
HeyMath has given me a lot of takeaways in the two and a half months which I will cherish my whole life. People at HeyMath have pride in their work and I am glad to have shared the same in the few months. HeyMath is poised to achieve great things in the field of education. Developers and animators who are looking for the right career path, HeyMath is the place to be "A family that shares the love for math and creativity".
