HeyMath! Intern: Vijay Chidambaram
I'm a third year CS undergrad at CEG. I was looking for some experience working in the industry when a senior told me about HeyMath!. I applied for the internship, excited and a little scared. Interning at HeyMath! was beyond my wildest dreams - it was pure fun. I worked in the Tech team under Sathya and Ananth. They encouraged me to feel free to work at my own pace and time. The tech team consisted of guys who were as much fun as they were good in their work. With a senior from my college, Vijay, working there as well, I totally felt at home. Even though my project was an individual one, I got the feeling of being in a team at all times. The culture and bonding at HeyMath! is amazing - the entire team pulls together and every victory, no matter how small, is celebrated :) I worked on an internal mailing application using Java, coined HeyPost! It was an enriching experience, and over the course of that one month, I grew into a better professional. HeyMath! is a place where any person who likes to have fun working and is technologically motivated should definitely consider working.
